    M.Y. GIOIA – MONACO YACHTS SHOW 2026

GIOIA is one of our most distinctive 2024 deliveries, a 43m motor yacht that perfectly embodies Codecasa’s commitment to excellence, fine craftsmanship, and Italian style.

At first glance, she stands out with a bold yet sophisticated aesthetic: a striking gunmetal grey superstructure set against a classic white hull, giving her an unmistakable presence at sea.

The interior design offers a modern atmosphere that remains warm and inviting. Through a refined selection of custom woodwork and bespoke stone accents, we crafted an authentic Italian elegance.

  • DELIVERY OF M.Y LEGACY 4 TO HER OWNER

DELIVERY OF M.Y LEGACY 4 TO HER OWNER

Codecasa Shipyards are proud to announce the delivery of LEGACY 4, a splendid new 57-metre motor yacht, to her fortunate owners.

Based on the well-proven technical platform of the Codecasa 57-metre, LEGACY 4 stands out for her classic, elegant interiors and for the well-structured, sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere that characterises all her decks.

The key elements of the interior design of LEGACY 4 are the fine mahogany used for the furniture, luxurious fabrics such as velvet and silk for the upholstery, and the high-quality marbles and stones used for some of the floors and furnishing details.

Construction, from keel laying to completion, was the result of a three-year journey by a close-knit team in which every member played a fundamental role.

From the technical, design and production departments of Codecasa Shipyards, supported by Tommaso Spadolini’s Design Studio for the interior styling and by Pla.Na of Pieluigi Ausonio for the naval architecture, to Yanova, led by Mr Daniel Kupfer, who acted as the owner’s representative together with Ocean Independence, and Fraser Yachts, which handled all the operational aspects of the vessel, everyone was part of a group with a single common goal: to build the best yacht possible.

All the challenges encountered during construction were successfully overcome thanks to the productive and positive daily collaboration between these people, each of whom committed themselves, in their own role, to making the yacht’s owner happy.

Codecasa Shipyards wish LEGACY 4 fair winds and calm seas, and her owners, guests and crew many pleasant and unforgettable moments on board!

On Monday 23 February at 10.30, at the Cantieri Navali Ugo Codecasa shipyard in Viareggio, the new CODECASA 57– Hull F81– LEGACY 4 was launched in a strictly private ceremony.

LEGACY 4 is a 57-metre Yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, a combination that guarantees structural strength, safety and weight optimisation designed to offer stability and comfort even on the most demanding passages.

Propulsion is provided by two Caterpillar 3512E engines, each of 1771 kW (2375 hp) at 1800 rpm, capable of driving the vessel to a maximum speed of 17 knots at light displacement. Her range reaches 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots: a figure that opens the way to transoceanic cruising in complete safety and reliability.

The Lloyd’s Register EMEA – ✠ 100 A1, SSC “YACHT” MONO G6 – ✠ LMC + UMS -“Red Ensign Group Yacht Code – Part. A” Full Compliance certification bears witness to the rigorous attention paid to the highest technical and quality standards in the industry.

The yacht is the result of the long-standing collaboration between Codecasa Shipyards and Architect Tommaso Spadolini. The large, welcoming interior and exterior spaces were designed to offer a harmonious balance between privacy and conviviality. A lift connects all the decks, ensuring practicality and full accessibility on board.

The sleeping area comprises an Owner’s Suite and five Guest cabins, plus the Captain’s cabin and six double cabins for the crew; a layout designed throughout to ensure efficient and discreet service.

The launch of m.y. LEGACY 4 is the result of intense teamwork, born of the expertise, passion and dedication of the entire Codecasa Shipyards team. To each member – from design to construction and final fitting-out – goes our heartfelt thanks for their commitment and professionalism.

Special thanks go to all the companies involved in the work, whose experience and collaboration made a decisive contribution to the creation of this vessel.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the Owner’s Company, its consultants Yanova and Fraser Yachts, and Architect Tommaso Spadolini, who accompanied every stage of this journey with expertise and dedication.

But above all, we extend our warmest wishes to the Owner: may this Yacht bring pleasant and unforgettable voyages, and moments of serenity, discovery and satisfaction.

THE CODECASA JOURNEY – IN COLLABORATION WITH LUCIFERO DESIGN

In the heart of the Darsena today, 30 May 2025, we celebrate 200 years of history of Codecasa Shipyards, an excellence of Italian yachting. Roberta Patalani of Lucifero Design presents “The Codecasa Journey” at the Viareggio Yacht Center, a permanent installation designed to remember and celebrate the history and tradition of a shipyard deeply linked to the city of Viareggio.

Through a visual narrative, the exhibition retraces the evolution of the Shipyard from its origins, back in 1825, to the present day. A journey between past and present that pays tribute to two centuries of commitment, passion and dedication that have always distinguished Codecasa.

“For me and my studio it is a real pleasure and an honour to be able to tell the story of Codecasa Shipyards, which began 200 years ago; we thank the Codecasa family and Patron Fulvio for choosing us to tell this story.” Comments Roberta Patalani of Lucifero Design, a Design and Set Design studio responsible for the concept and creation of “The Journey”, which occupies the ground floor of the Viareggio Yachting Center overlooking the beautiful, renovated Piazza Viani.

“The work tells of waves and water, of skies and boats. The display cases punctuate the narrative like frames of a film, while the shaped elements amplify its rhythm and depth” – explains Roberta Patalani – “We graphically reworked and reinterpreted the historical photographs made available by the Codecasa archive, enriching them with iconic and symbolic elements: animals, landscapes, visual suggestions. So, just as the ancient columns symbolise the strength and longevity of the shipyard, the great whales (whose skeletons evoke the planking of boats, taking us back to Viareggio’s tradition of master shipwrights) become a symbol of sacredness and good fortune.”

This installation is a tribute to the mastery and ingenuity of those who, for two centuries, have continued to give the city of Viareggio works of art destined to be eternal.

    BLUE DESIGN SUMMIT 2025

This year Codecasa wins the Heritage Award: Brand Heritage literally means “the inheritance of a brand”, and therefore refers to the history, legacy and reputation of a brand over time. It is the sum of the values, traditions, experiences and successes that a brand has accumulated throughout its existence. With its 200 years, Codecasa has spanned two centuries building some of the yachts that have made Italian yachting history.

  • SAR PATROL BOAT CP 870

    SAR PATROL BOAT CP 870

On 22 May 2025, the ceremony was held to return the SAR Patrol Boat CP 870 to her crew, after a long modernisation programme.

The Refit programme for the SAR Class CP 800 patrol boats, commissioned from us by the General Command of the Italian Coast Guard, aims to give further years of life to a project born in 1993 with the construction of 27 units – SAR Class CP 800 Valentin series patrol boats, dedicated to saving lives at sea.

The working relationship built over these years with the Italian Coast Guard and its crews is truly very important to us. Seeing on TV, or in the newspapers, what they are capable of doing at sea fills us with great emotion and a strong sense of pride.

We thank the General Command for the trust placed in us, and we are confident that we have met their expectations.

Thanks to the craftsmen who worked with us on this project. Thanks to the work and commitment of all the patrol boat crews. Thanks to our city, Viareggio, and thanks to Codecasa Shipyards and our 200 years of history.
