The CODECASA 42 Vintage series, whose first unit, Hull F 73, was launched in summer 2011, was a great success at the Monaco Yacht Show 2011 and won the Nautical Design Awards 2011, as well as being a finalist at the Showboats Awards 2012. • CODECASA – KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY – YACHTS EMIRATES N.32

Codecasa’s two centuries of trading is in itself an achievement, but when a shipyard boasts amongst its production portfolio commercial trawlers, container ships, high-speed Coastguard launches, offshore supply boats, fast aluminium yachts, large open sports yachts and custom steel yachts of up to 65m… that is seriously impressive.

  • M.Y. ALDABRA – YACHT CAPITAL

Who knows whether the Latin saying Nomen omen also applies to boats. Certainly, the choice to name a boat after a coral atoll that is a true paradise off-limits to humans must have a meaning. Aldabra, the name of the latest Codecasa 51 to touch the water, is in fact an atoll in the Seychelles that barely rises above the Indian Ocean. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is inhabited only by the giant tortoises that bear the same name and by the last flightless birds. For the owner, it is probably a way of underlining the uniqueness of a boat, but also its incredible role as a magical, private paradise closed to most.

  • M.Y. REGINA D’ITALIA – BOAT INTERNATIONAL

The 51 metre Codecasa motor yacht Regina d’Italia is probably the most extraordinary yacht afloat. Her décor, inspired by the owner Stefano Gabbana, a partner in the world-famous fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, was designed in detail by Rome-based Lazzarini Pickering Architetti.

  • M.Y FRAMURA2 – CODECASA 45S – HULL F72

The CODECASA 45s M.Y. FRAMURA 2, built in light alloy and winner of the 2011 World Superyacht Awards in the “Two deck semi-displacement or planing Motor Yacht” category, is part of the Codecasa Open Series, made up of the CODECASA 35s, the CODECASA 41s, the CODECASA 45s and the new CODECASA 50s. M.Y. FRAMURA 2, a beautiful yacht with Exteriors designed by Professor Andre Bacigalupo and delivered in 2010, has cruised successfully in the Mediterranean and has been admired in all the most important ports for the purity of her lines.

  • M.Y LADY LAU – CODECASA 65 – HULL C118

Among the 2010 jewels of the Viareggio shipyard stands out the gleaming white majesty of LADY LAU, a Codecasa 65 with an imposing yet welcoming look. The boat has classic, traditional lines and was built according to the precise tastes of her Owner, who followed every stage of construction step by step together with architects Anna Maria and Franco Della Role.

  • SUCCESS FOR THE CODECASA 42 VINTAGE SERIES AT THE 21ST MONACO YACHT SHOW 2011

Great success for Codecasa Shipyards at the 21st Monaco Yacht Show, held from 21 to 24 September. The famous Viareggio shipyard exhibited the brand-new CODECASA 42 Vintage, the first model of this series, on the basis of which the builder has already laid down the 50-metre project.

  • CODECASA ARRIVES IN THE PISA DARSENA

Fulvio Codecasa, patron of Codecasa Shipyards of Viareggio, continues to invest in yachting despite the crisis. Codecasa has in fact decided to aim even higher by expanding its production sites, four of which already exist in Viareggio, building four more industrial sheds in the new Navicelli Area of Pisa, whose attractive feature is that it is not state-owned land.
With this new investment, Fulvio Codecasa shows his confidence in a general recovery of the sector.

  • M.Y ALDABRA – CODECASA 51 – HULL C116

The naval architecture of this yacht, part of a very successful series of Yachts and registered under the number Codecasa 51 Hull C 116, is by Codecasa and the Shipyard’s in-house Architects, Franco and Anna Maria Della Role, who also oversaw the interior design.
