Riding the wave of the great public and critical success of the first two CODECASA 35s opens, Codecasa Shipyards launched the first unit of a new sports series called the CODECASA 41s: Hull “F 69” m.y. FAMILY DAY. This 41-metre open, built entirely in light aluminium alloy, is powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines of 2400 HP each, driving two side 71 S II waterjets and a central 56 B II booster by ROLLS-ROYCE KAMEWA. The engineering and exterior lines are by Prof. Andre Bacigalupo, while the interior furnishings, at the Owners’ request, were designed by Architects Franco and Annamaria Della Role. The contrast between the markedly sporty exterior lines and the decidedly classic interiors, strongly desired by the owners, is striking. Here, mahogany panelling on walls and doors, and also on the interior floor of the main deck. The area comprising the large saloon and the dining room ends, beyond the dividing panel, at the well-equipped bridge, clad in carbon and brown leather panels. There is also a second helm station on the Sun Deck. Below deck, an owner’s cabin plus three double cabins and a twin cabin accommodate 10 people in maximum comfort. Here, carpeted floors and great care for the bathrooms of each cabin. The boat also offers accommodation for a crew of 6. The exterior offers ample sunbathing space not only aft and on the Sun Deck but also forward, where, in addition to the solarium area, there is a special C-shaped outdoor dining area housing two tables which, when needed, can be turned into a single oval table seating up to 14 people by means of an extension. Another outdoor dining table is located aft in front of the entrance, preceded by a large, comfortable sunbathing area covering the hot tub below. The strong interest in this new model is shown by the many enquiries from both the Italian and international markets. BOAT EXHIBITED AT THE 47TH GENOA BOAT SHOW 2007 AND RECENT WINNER OF THE INTERNATIONAL YACHTS TROPHY 2007 for best interior design.
