(ex Gazzella II – ex Gazzella)
The new CODECASA 50 – Vintage Series, Hull C121, m.y. Gazzella, was also designed by the Codecasa Shipyard’s in-house architects with the aim of finding the right balance between past and present.
For the first 50 m of the Vintage Series, m.y. Gazzella, the Owner chose white for both the hull and the superstructure. The clean, traditional exterior lines contrast with classic, sumptuous interiors. On entering, attention is immediately captured by the richness of the interiors, which throughout the Yacht are made of mahogany and mahogany feather veneer, with floors alternating, depending on the area, fine marbles and onyx with elegantly patterned carpets. The main saloon features a large conversation area made up of two large sofas and four red and gold armchairs, arranged around a mahogany coffee table with gold inlays and facing a 65” TV.
The whole saloon area is well lit by natural light coming from the large windows, and is further extended by its continuity with the dining room, from which it is separated by a low cabinet. The dining room, with its rectangular mahogany table whose top is richly decorated with maple inlays, can seat up to a total of 12 guests.
From the dining room we move to the pantry on the port side and from there to the galley, equipped with the latest-generation appliances distributed between the wall units and the practical central island. A dumbwaiter directly connects the main deck pantry to the wheelhouse deck pantry. Continuing on the starboard side, from the dining room we reach the main hall, whose floor is a play of precious marble inlays. From here rises the main staircase, with an elegant dark iron handrail with gold details and walls entirely covered in a material combining gold leaf and mother-of-pearl, which connects to the Wheelhouse Deck and the Guest area on the Lower Deck.
The four-person lift connects all decks, from the Lower Deck to the Sun Deck.
Continuing forward on the Main Deck, we reach the VIP Cabin, with private bathroom and elegant red and gold furnishings, next to the Owner’s Suite, which features a private study, a large cabin, spacious walk-in wardrobes and two bathrooms clad in Honey Onyx, connected through the shower, with walls decorated with an elegant floral mosaic.
On the Lower Deck there are four Guest cabins, two doubles and two twins, each of course with its own en-suite bathroom, as well as the crew area, made up of four double cabins, the Chief Engineer’s cabin, the crew mess and the laundry area with three washing machines and three dryers. From the crew area there is access to the deck below, which houses the provisions store, custom-built refrigerators and large cold rooms.
On the Wheelhouse Deck is the welcoming Skylounge, more intimate and less formal than the main saloon, with a comfortable seating area with a 65” TV, a breakfast table and a bar unit. Here the dominant colour is blue, chosen both for the marble used for the tops of the coffee table and bar unit and for the upholstery fabrics and the carpet pattern. The deck is completed by the day head, the pantry and the Captain’s Cabin, directly connected to the radio room and the bridge, the latter equipped with the most modern navigation, detection and communication systems to guarantee maximum safety for the Owner and his Guests.
The exterior areas are generous on all decks. The pleasant relaxation area aft on the main deck alternates with the outdoor dining area aft on the Wheelhouse Deck, which can seat up to 12 guests. Finally, the Sun Deck, also reachable by lift, has a large sunbathing area, a seating area, a bar corner and a hot tub for five/six people right at the bow, flanked by large sun pads.
Throughout the Yacht, particular care was devoted to the choice of satellite reception, Internet and entertainment systems.
Equipped with a Castoldi 21’ jet tender and Zero Speed stabilisers at anchor, Hull C121, m.y. Gazzella, thanks to her 2 Caterpillar 3512C engines of 2365 Hp each at 1800 rpm, guarantees a maximum speed of 17.5 knots at light displacement and a range of about 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
