On May 22, 2025, a ceremony was held to hand over the rescue boat SAR CP 870 to her crew after a long refit.
The realisation of the Refit plan of the rescue boats SAR CP 800 class, commissioned by the General Command of the Harbour Offices, is aimed at giving another year of life to a project that began in 1993 with the build of 27 units – SAR CP 800 class rescue boats Valentin series, meant to rescue human lives at sea.
The relationship of cooperation that has been established over the years with the Italian Coast Guard and its crews is really very important. Seeing on TV, or in the newspapers, what they are capable of doing at sea makes us feel a great emotion and a strong sense of pride.
We thank the General Command for the trust they have placed in us, and we trust we have managed to meet their expectations.
